In the days before Christmas, the Seafarers Mission Eemshaven holds a tradition of sharing Christmas presents with Seafarers on ships and vessels in the harbour. The Christmas presents were packed by students of Noorderpoort Energy & Maritime school in Delfzijl. The present exists of a bag from Collé Rental and Sales packed with a shower gel, chocolate, a drink bottle provided by Wijnne & Barends, a hand towel, a card game, a pen provided by Vopak, Christmas sweets, a Christmas card from the Dutch

The Christmas presents were handed to the Seafarers by Sven Standhardt, pastor of the Seafarers Mission, who was also accompanied by students of Noorderpoort Energy & Maritime.
