At the end of October, the newest cruise ship built by the Meyerwerft in Papenburg, the Genting Dream, arrived in Eemshaven. The Genting Dream stayed for a total of 7 days. During the days the cruise ship stayed in Eemshaven, the Seafarers Mission welcomed over 1500 visitors for a beer and a snack and a home far away from home. At September 28th the Genting Dream left Eemshaven for sea trials after which it continued to Bremerhaven.

The Genting Dream is a cruiseship of Dream Cruiseline, a luxury Asian cruise liner. The ship is 335 meters long and left the Meyerwerft’s hall on August 19th. The Genting Dream is expected to have it’s maiden voyage on November 18th from Nansha, China. Tickets are on sale now and prices start at €700,-.
